£20m secured for Hilsea Lido, Linear Park & more, plus £1m for Moneyfields Football Club

Today we’ve secured £20m from the Levelling Up fund for the amazing Hilsea Lido Trust, the Portsea Linear Park and a new cruise ship terminal. After years of campaigning and getting the lido to where it is today, I'd like to thank the brilliant Trust members and in particular Helen and Sabrina for all they have done.

The Hilsea Linear Park will be the longest urban park in the UK.

Now we can restore the Hilsea Lido.

£986k announced to protect Moneyfields Football Club.

Moneyfields Football Club have secured £986k today as part of the Levelling Up fund.

This is a superb football club and I know it means a lot to Portsmouth and the local community it serves. I've lobbied for them and championed them wherever I can, but the real thanks go to everyone at Moneyfields who work so tirelessly and with dedication towards keeping the club going and providing an important outdoor sports club facility that is nurturing football here in Portsmouth. Thank you for all that you do.
